An underrated early classic. The first and third songs (“Roforofo Fight,” “Question Jam Answer”) are urgent and upbeat and fierce; the second and fourth (“Go Slow,” “Trouble Sleep Yanga Wake Am”) are cooler and looser and, atypical as they are of Fela’s output, are particularly engaging. "Trouble Sleep Yanga Wake Am" is unlike any other Fela song of the era. Spacey, slow paced, with a pretty but sorrowful top line, you could call it an Afrobeat blues ballad.
